You've shown me, my Lord, where true joy lies,

In the mihrab's embrace, my spirit shall rise.

Or in prayer and fasting through the daylight's haze,

In devotion, I find solace, in humble praise.

In every act of worship, a source of delight,

In Your presence, my heart takes its flight.

You've taught me, my Lord, to find happiness there,

In the mihrab's sacred space, in fervent prayer.
