The Descendant of the Noble Ones 

A poem by the honorable poet Sidi Ahmed Al-Sharqi

In the abode of purity and knowledge, he drew from the source,

And he grew up in the dwelling of honor and nobility, of course.

In the company of goodness, he thrived with grace and pride,

Under the embrace of the virtuous, he'd never hide.

A solemn pledge to integrity, both in word and in deed,

Following the faithful, as their path he would heed.

His lineage adorned with the heritage of divine light,

Ancestors, across regions, in their quest took flight.

In the realm of knowledge, he shines sincere and strong,

Carrying the burdens of preachers, as they sing his song.

By God's grace, he illuminates paths for all to see,

Guidance and mercy for the world, a beacon he'll be.

In humility and love, he adorns the world so wide,

A pure-hearted soul, in whom we take pride.
