"My Lord, with sincere obedience, I turn to You,
Hoping to remain in continuous remembrance.
Blessed is the one who recognized your presence in his supplication,
For your majesty and beauty, in that, is fair.
They say, 'Rejoice, for the festival is near.'
I say, 'Each letter in the name of my Lord is a celebration.'
The letters of Your Book are the light and the joy of my heart,
And my prostration in obedience to You are voluntary acts.
My nightly vigil is a wedding, how magnificent it is,
And how could it not be, when the bridegroom is eternally beautiful.
My hope, my Lord, is in Your contentment with me,
For success is then, by Your decree, achieved.
So, my Lord, do not leave me in doubt about myself,
For I have no self left after the crescent has appeared.
I seek forgiveness and turn to You, O my Lord,
For the One who turns to You finds all-encompassing forgiveness.
My Lord, do not let me fall into the temptations of Satan,
For I desire to be occupied with You through You.
False pretenses, elevation, they engage in worldly matters,
If not for Your kindness, the ships of Your salvation wouldn't be messages.
So, thanks and praise, unceasing, to You,
From before You created me and upon meeting You, the state remains.
Increase my love for You, until I exhaust my patience,
And let my love for You endure through Your presence.
Your attributes appeared in the universe,
So, I hope the complete veil shall be lifted.
I love You, truly, as long as the servant's
Yearning for his Lord is a grace from You to me, a vast expanse.
Raise my ranks before the death of my life,
For hope never leaves me at dawn's arrival.
I purify and elevate my soul with the Quran and remembrance,
Before my soul is taken by Your hands, that is the state.
My Lord, the letters and lessons have disappeared,
But the nobility of Your countenance remains in its beauty.
My Lord, forgive the one who recites 'Allah is One,'
And loves the Messenger for his noble deeds.
And have mercy on this one and that one, and make me,
At the decisive moment, continuously engaged with You."
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
2. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
3. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
4. Master of the Day of Judgment.
5. It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help.
6. Guide us to the straight path.
7. The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided.
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, our Lord, protect us in our faith, our worldly affairs, and the well-being of our affairs. O Allah, our Lord, protect our hearing, our sight, from above us, from beneath us, on our right, on our left, and in all our limbs. O Allah, our Lord, protect us from every worry, sorrow, debt, sadness, and the dominance of people. O Allah, I beseech You, O Most Loving (3 times), O Possessor of the Majestic Throne, effective in what You will. I ask You, O Allah, by the light of Your countenance that fills the pillars of Your Throne, and by Your mercy that encompasses all things, and by Your power through which You have created, 'Aid us (3 times), O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity (3 times)." "O Allah, our Lord, single me out for that which You have created me for, and do not distract me with what You have undertaken for me. Do not deprive me when I ask of You, and do not punish me when I seek Your forgiveness. O Mighty One, O Forgiver, O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity. Our Lord, in You, we have placed our trust, and to You, we turn, and to You is the final destination. Our Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the best of the merciful.
Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Your own, for You are the Bestower. O Allah, I have fortified myself, my family, my children, and all those whom my heart holds dear, by the ever-living, who does not die. I have shielded them from harm by the right of a thousand, thousand, thousand (recite three times) - there is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
O Allah, I beseech You, O Maker of all things created, O Mender of all that is broken, O Comforter of every lonely soul, O Companion of every stranger, O the Near One who is not far, make for us in our affairs an exit and a relief, O the Most Merciful, O the Most Compassionate, O Lord of the Worlds. Our Lord, in You, we have placed our trust, and to You, we turn, and to You is the final destination. Our Lord, do not make us a trial for those who have disbelieved, and forgive us, our Lord, for You are the Mighty, the Merciful."
"O Allah, protect us from the punishment of the Day You resurrect Your servants. O Allah, our Lord, make us immune and provide us with strong protection from all Your creation until we reach our appointed time, safe and sound, O Lord of the Worlds. O Allah, our Lord, I have sought refuge in You from my own weakness, and I have relied on Your strength. Show me the wonders of Your creation and Your power, O Mighty One, O Forgiver.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will be among the losers. Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any ill will towards those who believe. Our Lord, You are the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I ask You for the best of what Your Prophet, our Master Muhammad, peace be upon him, asked for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what Your Prophet, our Master Muhammad, peace be upon him, sought refuge from. You are the One from whom help is sought, and You have the power to convey. There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great."
"O Allah, guide us as You have guided, heal us as You have healed, take charge of our affairs as You have taken charge, and bless us with what You have given. Protect us from the evil of what You have decreed by Your mercy, for You are the One who decrees, and none can decree upon You. None will be humiliated whom You have befriended. Blessed are You, our Lord, the Most Majestic, the Most Generous.
O Allah, our Lord, do not leave us to ourselves for the blink of an eye or less. O Allah, our Lord, do not make me alone, and You are the best of inheritors. O Allah, our Lord, bless me in death, at the time of death, and after death. Death, death, death, death (20).
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment and in Your contentment from Your anger. I seek refuge in You from You. O Allah, I cannot count the praises upon You; You are as You have praised Yourself.
O Allah, our Lord, with the blessing of the earth of our land, shine the teeth of our mouths and heal our sick by Your mercy.
O Allah, by the virtue of 'Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem' and may Allah bless our master Muhammad and his family and grant them peace. There is no power and no strength except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great."
