Guidance on the Path: A Message to the Beloved Seekers of Allah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

To the people of Allah, the righteous travelers, our beloved in Allah, and through Allah, all praise is due to Allah. Peace and blessings be upon His chosen one, upon his family, and upon those who follow them in the beginning and the end. May Allah be pleased with our elders, and may He have mercy on those who preceded us in goodness among our brethren to Him. May He guide our living, our children, and our youth to what He loves and is pleased with.

Dear brothers, whether poor in Allah or rich with Him, the arrangement and adornment of words may elude me, but I ask Allah not to let me miss understanding and success. I begin with the remembrance of Allah and state that Sufism is an experience that guides the seeker on the path of Allah to taste and strive for purity and vision. The way to achieve this is only through the knowledge of Sharia and the truth, embodied in the heartful and conscious worship, enabling the seeker to ascend the ladder of spiritual ranks, seeking the face of Allah, the Most High. This worship, based on feeling and taste, is the only one that changes the inner self, transforming the apparent to give birth to a new human full of radiance, love, blessings, productivity, and the harvesting of fruits. This is what the companions and the Sufi masters experienced, following the path laid out by them. The spiritual fruits harvested are the result of efforts, deeds, and illuminations of divine light. Sufis are masters of states, not mere speakers of words. So, realize, dear brothers, that one will not attain the vision by neglecting striving.

O honorable ones, O noble seekers, O righteous travelers, Sufism is a path linked to every individual, era, and place. It embodies the process of human succession on earth. If one does not embark on the beloved's path, they will not reach the light of the Beloved. If one does not seek the ascents to the Lord of Lords, they cannot ascend, and those who remain confined in their own cage will not progress. Whoever relies solely on themselves will be deceived, lost, and stagnant. All praise is due to Allah, who made among His creation those who love Him, like you, adhering to the rope of Sharia and following the lights of the Sufi path, seeking the vastness of truth. Sharia is to worship Allah, the Sufi path is to seek Him, and the truth is to witness Him. This is the purpose, the aspiration of those who seek permission from Allah will be granted permission, and those who stand at His door with humility will be admitted. The goal of the path is for the sincere seeker to reach through their efforts, aided by the good example. The sheikh, O beloved, is not the one you hear from but the one from whom you take. May Allah make us and you flowing springs quenching the thirsty, firm trees nourishing men of piety, and strong supporters for those standing at Your magnificent door. Make us successors to the righteous among your servants who remember abundantly. Whoever strives achieves justice, and whoever exerts effort attains connection. All praise is due to Allah for this and that. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the best of creation, our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his noble companions. May Allah have mercy on our revered sheikh, my father, our trustworthy and honorable Sheikh Maulana Al-Amine Rusi El Hassani, and all the sheikhs and the poor among the people of Allah. You are the Hearer, the Responder to prayers. Peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
