Shining Beacon 

From the poems of the esteemed scholar and knowledgeable Sidi Yusuf ibn al-Sheikh Maulana Al-Haj Ali Kounati Al-Qadiri Al-Maskanawi, the Sheikh of the Qadiriyya Masaniyya Sufi order in the country of Mali.

Please note that some nuances may be lost in translation, but I hope this captures the essence of the poem.

And no matter how much I mention our trustworthy leader,

The guardian of Allah in the great palace,

My tears flow abundantly, for indeed, he was the most merciful to the young,

And the source of all goodness for people, inheritor of that luminous full moon.

I see those who missed the true companionship,

Of the trustworthy one, my father Al-Mujīr,

May Allah's great mercy be upon him, O Abdel Jalil,

Upon him is the mercy of the Great Lord."

Then he, may God be pleased with him, said:

"O garden that embraced the learned Al-Rusi,

The pride of the nation, the trustworthy, the most pleasant.

How wonderful it is to see you at the top,

In you, the noblest and most honored are inspired.

So thank Allah for giving you our leader,

By God, you have acquired something precious.

For those who ask people about the noblest lineage,

It is said: that is Al-Amine, the knowledgeable Rusi."

Then he said about Sheikh Sidi Al-Amine, may God be pleased with him, extemporaneously:

"Allah is the Greatest, this Sheikh is a believer,

Guarding the people of the land and the nation.

A noble Sheikh with deep knowledge,

Spreading the path of Allah's people, he never falters.

Abdel Jalil Al-Morabi(المربي), a scholar of the known,

Perfect in reviving the obligations and the traditions.

O Sheikh, you remain in goodness and well-being,

Supported by God's bounties and blessings.

O Lord, I complain to You of the injustice of time,

As life throws me into trials and tribulations.

You are the One ready to respond to every supplicant,

To me, You are the Lord of riches, repelling degradation.

I call upon You, like a sinner, humbly,

A humble, seeking, bewildered supplicant.

Seeking through Your essence, names, and attributes,

And the Grand Name, which belongs to the Quran, O Gracious One."

"By the truth and wisdom in the Quran's revelation,

A hidden secret with evident evidence.

And by the integrity of the trustworthy Gabriel,

The best of mankind, Muhammad the generous.

By the pure lineage, the masters of humanity,

The people of virtue, generosity, and kindness.

And by the Shadhili of Moroccan origin,

With his abundant grace, breath, and guidance.

By the great renewer, Sheikh Darqawi the greatest,

The refuge for the poor and the pillar of the seekers.

By Sayyid Al-Rusi, the most complete and honorable,

In his perfection and divine beauty, an exemplar.

And by all those who follow the path,

And the beloved ones across various lands."

Keep in your sight, O God of Morocco,

A king and a people from the land of the past.

And grant success to Mohammed the Sixth,

Protector of Islam, faith, and kindness.

Open for us the doors of your favor,

And protect us from the wicked, the oppressor.

Gather all upon truth and genuine love,

The seekers of the path of realization.

Quench everyone's thirst with a cup of love,

And have mercy on souls and bodies.

I mean the honorable, sheik Rusi,

The manifest of the Merciful on his path.

By his nobility and his true lineage,

Seal for us with goodness and faith.

Open for Abdel Jalil, the successor of the Rusian,

The trustworthy, the one who knows the divine.

Then, blessings upon the chosen prophet,

And his family and companions, with faith."
