When he possessed sincere faith, knowledge, and understanding, along with detachment from the worldly life, and guidance for the creation of Allah, both the general public and the specific individuals held onto him, as we mentioned. A group of scholars affirmed his leadership, including the esteemed Sheikh, the Imam, the knowledgeable scholar, Abu al-Fadl Sidi and our master Fath Allah, the son of the Sheikh of the path and the source of conduct and verification, our master Abu Bakr al-Bennani. Also, the jurist and scholar Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Tahami Guenoun, and our master Abdul Rahman bin Tayyib, the grandson of Mawlay Abu Abdullah al-Arabi al-Derqaoui, the distinguished jurist Sidi Umar bin Ba'anan al-Qal'ai, the jurist Ahmed al-Jabbari, the humble servant of the people of Allah, and others.
A letter of condolence from the one who knows God, the scholar Sheikh Al-Baraka Sidi Fathallah Al-Benani, to the scholar Sheikh Sidi Abdullah Rusi El-Hassani
Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family.
May God strengthen, through His grace, the people of perfection. Our esteemed brother, beloved and esteemed one for whom we hold immense respect, Sheikh Al-Ameed, the affiliated, the blessed, the vicegerent of Allah, walio-lah Sidi Abdullah Rusi, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
After offering praise and salutations, we received your noble message, continuing to convey to us, by Allah's perfection, knowledge, and guardianship. It informs us of the passing of our Master and Father, may God benefit us through him. We had no prior knowledge of this, as Muslims collectively faced immense challenges and severe tribulations. However, Allah's care, kindness, and victory prevailed. Thanks to the grace of our Master, the Messenger of Allah, peace and greatness be upon him, may Allah grant us and you immense reward in the face of this great calamity. May He replace our love for him with beautiful patience and reward us abundantly. May He fill the void left by his departure for us, you, and your brethren. May Allah renew His abundant mercy upon him, admit him to the spacious gardens of His bounty, in the company of the blessed. May He connect us with the perfection of those who excel in both secret and public acts of kindness. May blessings be upon you and your offspring, and may He grant you and us the best reward. We seek comfort through your prayers.
This is the state of the world, my brother, and you are more aware than anyone of the etiquette of this revelation. We extend greetings to our esteemed brother, Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad, and all your brethren and family. We convey the condolences of all our family members and brethren to you, and they all collectively share in our condolences for the passing of our Master and Father, may Allah have mercy on him.
Please convey our greetings to our entire family, your brothers, and especially to your esteemed son-in-law. Also, please inform us about the well-being of everyone and make good prayers for the current situation, especially for the rulers of Islam, whom Allah supports in preserving this Muhammadan religion. Amen.
I send along with this letter four copies of our work, "Ithaf Ahl Al-Inayah Al-Rabbaniyyah" – one for you, one for our brother Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad, one for our brother in Allah, Sidi Abdul Rahman Qoddama, and one for the esteemed judge, Sidi Ahmed Al-Alami. Additionally, you will receive two copies of our book, "Tuhfat Al-Sibha" – one for you and one for our brother Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad. Also, another copy is enclosed, the fifth, which you will receive, for our brother in Allah, Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad Al-Jabbari. Message of the scholar Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Tahami Guenoun.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family.
From the humble servants of Allah, seeking His guidance and righteousness, I, Muhammad bin Al-Tahami Guenoun, extend my greetings to our brother in Allah, the knowledgeable and wise, the living embodiment of education, the dear and honest Malikite in jurisprudence and doctrine, the Sufi in methodology and practice, our esteemed and revered Master Sidi Abdullah bin Al-Barka. May peace be upon you, and may Allah's mercy be upon our beloved Master, the Messenger of Allah.
Renewing our commitment to you and inquiring about all your health conditions, may Allah keep you well and in goodness. If you inquire about us as we do about you, we are, thanks to Allah, encompassed by comprehensive mercy, security, and abundant blessings. Our concerns are only to meet with loved ones and brethren, and to reach the blessed city of the descendants of Adnan and migrate there until we meet our destined end. May Allah protect us from every affliction and calamity.
I present to you a valuable gift of considerable worth, written in the handwriting of our Master Al-Tahami Al-Wazani, may Allah be pleased with him. Its content is a supplication: "O Allah, bless our Master Muhammad and the family of our Master Muhammad, the radiant light, the complete secret, and may Allah be pleased with his brother Jibreel, surrounded by light. Each of them is a ransom for a hundred thousand others, each ransom under another." Please convey our greetings to everyone who inquires about us, especially our esteemed brothers, Sidi Muhammad. Fate brought me together with him in the market of Tangier Al-Birani. He recognized me while I didn't know him at first, and he refused to introduce himself. So, I mentioned a certain conversation to him, and it surprised him that two men could meet without asking about each other's names and lineage. Then, Allah inspired me, and insight came to me. I said to him, "You are Sidi so-and-so, the son of Sidi so-and-so." He confirmed, and I thanked Allah. I asked him about all of you, and he informed me of what heals and suffices. Meeting loved ones revitalized my spirit, especially Sidi Abdul Aziz and his family and all the poor.
I invite you all to join us in making righteous prayers. In a hadith, the supplication of a believer for his fellow believer in his absence is answered. Also, greetings to you from someone close to us, and I received your book with the blessings of Allah. A book for the poor Ali bin Ahmed Al-Hajawi. Please send it to him, and Allah will reward you generously. May you remain in the protection of Allah, in safety, peace, and gracious greetings. The response is a generous greeting.
If you send a book to me in Tangier, please write on the envelope: To be delivered to the student Sidi Saleh Al-Musawwari at the Sabaghin Hotel, to be handed to so-and-so.
Message of the eminent disciple, Omar bin Bouenan Al-Qalai.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah alone; indeed, strength is from Allah.
To the esteemed noble rank, the elevated personality, possessor of exceptional talents and divine secrets, the link in the Fatimi chain, our Sheikh and intermediary to Allah, the righteous saint, the clear pole, Sidi Abdullah bin Sidi Al-Mufaddal Al-Darkawi, following the path of our master, Al-Arabi Al-Darkawi. Peace be upon our noble master, exalted by Allah, and may Allah's mercy, blessings, kindness, greetings, and approval be upon him. As long as the celestial bodies and their movements continue to bestow blessings upon you, and accolades and honor are showered upon you, my master, it is fitting that your exalted status prompts you to inquire about us.
By the grace of the Lord, we are in good health and safety, all praise is due to Allah, and we are nothing without your regard, your gaze, and your meeting. We beseech Allah to grant us the privilege of meeting you in the best of conditions, bringing peace of mind to our hearts. Our joy is incomplete until we know that you are in good health. Indeed, your well-being is a blessed grace, my master. I seek your satisfaction, and I implore you not to forget us in the hour of supplication. Whoever does not forget his beloved, Allah will not forget him. You are our guide, the delight of our souls, the crown on our heads, and we turn to Allah through your esteemed status in all difficulties and circumstances.
Likewise, our children and those attributed to us, whoever loves you, we love him, and whoever dislikes you, likewise. If you favor us with a line from your blessed hand, we seek its blessings and consider it a safeguard, adding to our treasures. We hope for your response, in accordance with what is appropriate for someone of your stature. Convey our greetings and peace to all our brethren in the Drakawi community. May Allah support them. In conclusion, on the 14th of Rajab 1343 H (February 10, 1925), the poor servant Omar bin Baanan Al-Qalai in Mahrusa, Tétouan.

At the outset of this letter, the source of storms, the epitome of generosity and pride, the sincere advisor, the righteous saint, the blessed exemplar, the pole of all poles, our master and support, relying on Allah and upon Him is our dependence. Our Sheikh, Sidi Abdullah, son of the courageous Imam, the vicegerent of Allah, Sheikh Sidi Al-Mufaddal, the honorable El-Hassani, Rusi. Peace be upon you, our most honored presence.
I have recited an Ayah from the Book of Allah and His beautiful names. After that, the purpose of this letter is to inform your grace that the companion... will present himself before our esteemed presence tomorrow, with the help of Allah, regarding the matter that we have discussed among ourselves. I am at your noble service, and I pray to Allah for facilitation and patience in carrying out this service. I seek to kiss the threshold of your noble presence, requesting the goodness of your prayers to achieve the desired outcome and peace.

Letter of the disciple Sidi Mohammed bin Alduaif
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah. May blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
Our Master, the Sheikh of the greatest blessing, Abu Al-Fayd, the honorable scholar, our Master Sheikh Sidi Al-Haj Al-Mufaddal, may Allah protect and watch over you. May Allah grant us the return of your blessings and the good peace upon you. May the mercy of Allah be with you. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. 1 Muharram 1348 A.H.
From the Letters of Sheikh Sidi Abdullah.
As for the letters addressed to the poor by our Sheikh, Sidi Abdullah Rusi El-Hassani al-Qutb al-Wadhih, I managed to obtain some manuscripts in his own handwriting. These manuscripts pertain to the renewal of connections, inquiring about the conditions of the poor, and highlighting the role of guidance, direction, and counsel. They also address some of the issues related to the Sufi order. Here is some textes:
Praise be to Allah alone, and may Allah's blessings be upon our master and prophet, Muhammad, and his family and companions.
May Allah perpetuate the glory, success, and support by His power and strength for that brother in Allah, Sidi Muhammad bin al-Makram, Sidi al-Haj Bouselham al-Sharif al-Daifi. May Allah protect and guide you. Amen. Peace be upon you, and mercy and blessings encompass everyone among you.
After that, my intention in addressing you is firstly to advise you to be vigilant, well-prepared, and ready for the appointed day, and keep in mind the day we presented ourselves before Allah. Prepare for this meeting by distancing yourself from this transient abode. Take from it as needed, for less is often better than abundance and distraction. We ask Allah, by the status of our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, to make our greatest concern that He is capable of whatever He wills, and He is worthy of answering. Amen.
Letter II:
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
To the brother in Allah and the beloved for His sake, the glorious on earth, Sidi Ahmed Ashtout El-Hassani (52), may Allah preserve and protect you, and may all that is within His pleasure be granted to you. May He grant success to both of us. Peace be upon you, and upon all those connected to you, and mercy and blessings encompass everyone by the intercession of our master Muhammad, the intercessor.
After that, this is a renewal of our covenant with you and an inquiry about all your affairs. May the Lord keep them in goodness and well-being. If you inquire about our condition, we and all circumstances are in well-being, and praise be to Allah in all circumstances. Even your son, the distinguished student, Sidi Abdul Salam, is in good health and doing well. He is dear in the zawiyah, causing no worry after sending his greetings to you, his family, and the people of the residence. He requests your satisfaction and righteous prayers, seeking healing for his soul from your side and the delight of the eyes.
Even we recommend to you our son, Sidi Muhammad al-Fatimi, after our greetings and satisfaction with him, satisfaction that leaves no bitterness afterward. We urge you to be vigilant and observant in every aspect concerning him. Greetings from us to Sidi Abdul Salam, and all the brothers, asking everyone for righteous prayers. We beseech Allah, glorified be He, for a good ending, kindness toward us and all His servants. He is the most merciful of the merciful, and praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace be upon you. In the most blessed 22nd of Sha'ban, 1352 Hijri. If Allah facilitates and fate assists us, we will be close to you soon.
